| This is another way to make a coil for the CDI.
It is made by Jorge M. Barrera, and this is his comments;
With this coil, I have sparks of
5 to 10 mm.
I have not runned the engine with this one, but the spark looks
good, the weight is reasonable and is really easy to build (only
cut a piece of the magneto and wind some coil around.
The former is optional, because only 30-50 turns give a good
spark. The insulation of secondary is better than we can do
with our resources. |
